Dalhousie reports third place among mid-sized universities

The reported result belongs to the revised mid-sized-university category.

Dalhousie reports third place among Canada’s mid-sized universities in the 2027 Maclean’s rankings. This category covers institutions with 10,000–30,000 full-time-equivalent students.

The revised framework differs from Dalhousie’s former medical-doctoral grouping. Its announcement highlights faculty awards, research impact, student financial support and reputation. The result is not third place across all Canadian universities, and financial-support indicators do not imply that every applicant receives a scholarship.
