TU/e reports enrolment growth and plans bachelor intake limits

TU/e reports growth in semiconductor-related programmes and plans intake limits for selected bachelor programmes.

TU/e reports that growth in master’s enrolment linked to the Beethoven semiconductor talent programme exceeded its target: 470 additional students against a planned increase of 263, relative to 2023–2024.

The university plans a Chemical Engineering bachelor intake cap for 2027–2028. Similar measures for Electrical Engineering and Industrial Engineering in 2028–2029 remain under consideration. Applicants should distinguish announced plans from measures still being assessed and check current programme admission rules.
